LOST & FOUND

This book is about getting to know one person and saying goodbye to another. It was not until this last summer that I met my grandfather for the first time. We connected and got to know each other, now we are as close as ever. On the other hand, my grandmother, who has been very close to me, got diagnosed with dementia a couple of years ago and now she is starting to forget who I am. This book is a photojournalistic view of the last year of getting to know my grandfather and saying goodbye to my grandmother. It is beyond them and it's part of life’s natural cycle of loss and finding. With friends, lovers, family—all must start and also come to an end.
